Tampopo Yamazaki has been accepted in an elite high school: Meio High School. She discovers a different ambiance from the one in her former country high school in Hokkaido. She does not belong in the same social class as the other students. They end up teasing her and calling her different nicknames like "savage best" or "bad seed". Hopefuly, it doesn't affect her happy mood! Tampopo falls for Kyougo, a guy in her class... He is quite mysterious, he acts cold with the other students but takes care of flowers with tenderness when everyone's heads are turned.
